The C language controllers provide an innovative new open platform that allows programs to be run on flexible, high-performance MELSEC systems that provide long-term availability and excellent reliability. With a C language controller as a platform, it is easy to build a system that uses resources such as MELSEC units, partner operating systems and applications as well as your own program and open source resources.

We provide a seamless access environment that goes beyond just applications for controlling industrial networks and extends to include everything from information systems down to the field equipment level.
We offer networks optimized for your purposes or applications, with the aim of optimizing your entire system, from development through to maintenance.

Seamlessly connecting the entire factory

Regardless of the network level, communication from the field devices right up too the overriding information system is as seamless as if it were a single network. Data from field devices can be logged and maintenance can be carried out from anywhere on the site.

Fast, high-capacity networks with excellent maintainability

The engineering tools enable you to locate network faults at a glance. And because you can quickly locate the fault when a problem arises, there is less downtime. The status of the entire network is displayed visually, allowing you to quickly identify circuit faults and unit abnormalities. You can even use the network to monitor the status of PLCs at other stations.

The functions needed for execution management are even more powerful

Bidirectional data transfer rates have been increased to 150 Mbps (equivalent to 300 Mbps over both directions), three times faster than previously. This dramatically improves system responsiveness and allows fully synchronous communication with SSCNET III/H. This also improves the performance of equipment that requires very precise synchronization, such as printers, foodstuff packaging equipment and machining equipment. The use of optical fiber effectively guards against interference caused by electrical noise from power lines and external devices.
